In the recent past, uCertify released IC3 GS5 Exam 1 course. Now, you all can have the benefit of its lab too. uCertify labs are an inexpensive and safe way to explore and learn and can be used to supplement training. The labs are versatile and simulate real-world, hardware, software and command line interface environments and can be mapped to any text-book, course & training.

The IC3 GS5 Exam 1 lab like its course, covers all the objectives of IC3 GS5 Computing Fundamentals exam and includes topics such as understanding operating systems, hardware, software; cloud computing; networking and mobile device; and so on. As we mentioned in one of our earlier posts, IC3 Global Standard 5 (GS5) is the newest addition to the IC3 Digital Literacy program. Like its predecessors, the GS5 certification is comprised of three exams: Computing Fundamentals, Living Online, and Key Applications. IC3 GS5 computing fundamentals exam covers all the topics of IC3 GS4 Computing Fundamentals along with two new topics: cloud computing and mobile device.

The lab provides you the experience of effectively using a computer operating system to perform everyday tasks such as installing software, managing files, and changing system settings. Thus, it gives you the understanding of maintaining computer equipment, protecting hardware from theft or damage, and solving common hardware problems.

uCertify has released a new feature of Selective syncing for instructor area. This feature will let instructors organize the gradebook by selecting the grades of students and syncing the selected grades with the LMS.  

Let’s see how an instructor can use the Gradebook Syncing feature. The instructor has to select a course and click the Assignments Tab on his account dashboard. Then click on the desired gradebook link and click the Load Gradebook Link in a new window button. You will be redirected to the gradebook of the selected section. Then click on the desired grades of the student, which you want to sync. To deselect any grade, click one more time on the particular grade. Once you are done, click the Sync button and then click the OK button to confirm.
